Uomo Salvatore Ferragamo Casual Life is the new fragrance from iconic Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo. This highly contemporary scent is very similar in concept to the original Uomo and, like the original, marks a real departure for the brand with a bold bottle design and innovative juice. Both fragrances use ‘edible’ notes – the original features Tiramisu, the first fragrance in the world to so, while Casual Life has coffee as its stand out note.
The fragrance was created by perfumers Aurelien Guichard & Alberto Morillas. The legendary Morillas is the creator of some of the world’s most iconic perfumes including CK one, Kenzo Flower and Cartier Panthere while young perfumer Aurelien Guichard has worked on a huge catalogue of fragrances including Versace Eros and Trussardi Uomo The Red.
Uomo Casual Life is a woody green fragrance. Top notes of fresh, zesty lemon mixed with violet leaves and cardamom open into a heart of coffee, blended with warm ambrox and bitter geranium. In the base cashmere wood and white cedarwood plus a tiny touch of white musk leave an addictive and delicious sillage.
The bottle design is similar to the original, using the Venna logo on both sides of the bottle. For Casual Life the logo is in silver for a slightly more modern twist. The light blue juice creates a great contrast with the silver packaging and cap.
