Every day more than 140 women in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s a sobering statistic. Organisations such as Breast Cancer Care, Cancer Research UK and Breast Cancer Now are committed to raising funds to invest in life saving research, as well as supporting those affected by breast cancer.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and these dedicated organisations have a whole variety of fundraising initiatives for people to get involved in. From holding a Big Pink Party on October 14th to wearing pink to work on October 21st there are all sorts of ways to raise money and have some fun at the same time!
Choosing your beauty buys wisely this month is another way of supporting these brilliant charities. Here at Perfume Anorak we’ll be checking out the following:

Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Viva Pink £3 – with the normal price of £6 slashed in half, this is a feel good treat that anyone can afford! And £1 from every bottle sold during the month of October will be donated to Breast Cancer Now.
Now in its 24th year, Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Month has raised more than £50 million to date, to fund research, education and medical services so why not be a part of it!!
